• Contraindications, allergies and more in-depth information on what could potentially irritate your client’s eyes
• Client consultation
• Prepping your client and their lashes for treatment
• The tools and products you should use and why
• How to select the right lashes including thickness, curls, weights and length and why you select the lashes you do
• How to style your client’s lashes – what will suit them best and how you are going to achieve that look
• Irritations and how to avoid them
• How to work with certain eye shapes – both visual demonstrations and theoretical
• Isolation and application
• Problem solving
• Everything you need to know about adhesive, retention and choosing the right glue for you
• How to remove lash extensions without causing any damage
• Aftercare for you – how you check your work to ensure no stickies how to send your client away with the perfect set of lash extensions that WILL NOT damage their natural lashes
• Aftercare for your client – how to explain to your client’s what they should and shouldn’t do post treatment and how they should maintain their lashes

Your training…

The course consists of a small group of likeminded students and your Lushlash Educator who specialises in lash training. The training will take place all day from around 9am till 4pm. The morning session will consist of in-depth theory-based learning. This will then be followed by training on mannequins and sponges to practise isolation and application of lash extensions. After lunch this will then be followed by training on live models so you can get the most from your training by having a hands-on experience. We will ask you to bring your own model for the days/times required.

If you like the idea of the training but would prefer to have a 1-2-1 course with our specialist educator – this can be done also for an additional £100.

Once you have completed the course you will then be required to send your educator photographic case studies demonstrating your work. This is explained in further detail on the course day including photo angles etc and what is required of you.

You will be required to pass five case studies in order to complete your training. Once five case studies have then been successfully completed and passed you will receive a fully accredited certificate. This will then enable you to build a business of your very own and begin your lash career.
